Miss Laurette Carhart, daughter of Ira Carhart, and Harry Peseux, son of Rudolph Peseux, were married at St. John's parsonage at Keyport on Sunday night of last week by Rev. Matthais S. Messler. Both parties are residents of Hazlet. The couple were attended by Miss Anna Peseux, a sister of the groom, and by Fred Stryker of Keyport. The bride wore a tailor-made brown cloth suite, with hat to match.

Mrs. Harry Peseux
Mrs. Laura Peseux, 69, of 72 Bethany Rd., Hazlet, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1959 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Hartle, Waynesboro, Pa., where she was visiting.
Mrs. Peseux was born in Hazlet and was the daughter of the late Ira and Phoebe Carhart. Her husband was the late Harry Peseux. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church.
Also surviving are a son, Rudolph, with whom she lived; a sister, Mrs. Edna Rathbone, Holmdel; two brothers, Stacy and Hudson Carhart, both of Hazlet; seven grandchildren and four great-children.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the John W. Mehlenbeck Funeral home, Hazlet. The Rev. Norman R. Riley, paster of St. John's Church, officiated and interment was in Green Grove Cemetery, Keyport.
