William Carhart of Navesink died at a hospital in Newark on Thursday. He was 32 years old. He had been under treatment at the hospital for about a month for stone in the bladder. An operation was performed early in the week and he began to sink immediately afterward. He was born and had lived all his life at Navesink. He was a member of the fire department at that place. A widow and one child survive him.
The funeral services were held in All Saints' Episcopal church and the interment was at the church cemetery. The pall bearers were all members of the fire department and were Wm. Stearns, Frank Dispreaux, Edward Burdge, Frank and Wm. Hower and Thomas Garvey.
