Mrs. Charles Dudley.
Mrs. Charles Dudley died at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. Luce, 406 W. Dominick street at 6:15 a. m. today. Three weeks ago Friday Mrs. Dudley with her husband removed to this city from Madison, Conn., to take up her residence at 408 W. Dominick street. On the day of her arrival here, mistaking the door opening into the cellar for one leading up stairs, Mrs. Dudley fell and broke several ribs on her right side. She was afterward confined to the bed. Heart failure caused her death. Mrs. Dudley was born in Linneus, Maine, on Nov. 17, 1944, and always resided either in Maine, Connecticut, Brooklyn or New York. Twelve years ago she married Charles Dudley in Brooklyn, who with stepchildren survive: Harry Dudley and Mrs. Fannie Moak of Brooklyn and Frank Dudley of Essex, N. H. She also leaves three brothers, Caleb of Big Shanty, Pa., and Charles and Eli Tibbitts of Oakfield, Me., and one sister, Mrs. A. Luce of Rome. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved husband whose coming to this city to reside is marked by so sad an affliction.
