TREMPEALEAU, Wis. -- Lawrence H. (Larry) Carhart, 87, of Reno, Nev., and formerly of Trempealeau, died Dec. 14, 1988.
He was born Aug. 1, 1901, in Trempealeau to Nathan and Emma Towner Carhart.
He was service manager for two car dealers for 24 years, and owner and operator of The Auto Specialty Co., in Richmond, Calif., for 35 years.
He was a member of Harbor Lodge of Masons No. 502, Richmond, Calif., a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and the AAONM Shrine of Reno, and was chairman of the Red Cross disaster committee in Richmond during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mathilda of Reno; a son, Robert H. of Benicia, Calif.; a daughter, Audrey Pickering of Richmond; and three grandchildren.
Services and burial were Saturday in Berkeley, Calif.
