JOHANNES BADE
Johannes Bade, 68, of Campbell avenue, Port Monmouth, died Tuesday night after an illness of two weeks. He had been employed for 25 years as a deck hand on one of the Central railroad's ferry boats. He was a member of the Red Bank Foreaters lodge, the Atlantic Highlands Masonic lodge and the Belford Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ella Carhart; a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Seit of Leonardo; a granddaughter, Mrs. Allen Halsey of Belford; one great-grandson, Robert Allen Halsey of Belford, and two brothers, William Bade of Hoboken and Henry Bade of Belford.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the late residence and at 2:30 o'clock at the Belford Methodist church. The service will be in charge of Rev. H. S. Crammer, pastor, and Rev. J. J. Mesaler, retired minister.
Interment in charge of the H. Laurence Sott funeral home of Belford will be in Bayview cemeter, Leonardo.

MRS. ELLA W. BADE
PORT MONMOUTH -- Mrs. Ella W. Bade, 87, of 58 Campbell Ave., died Saturday in Monmouth Medical Center.
Born in Greenpoint, L. I., she had lived here 69 years.
Her husband was the late Johanas Bade.
She was a member of Belford Council, Daughters of Liberty; Star of Bayside Council, Daughters of America, East Keansburg and the Order of the Eastern Star, Red Bank.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. August T. Minor of this place; nine grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Deborah Carter of this place, and Mrs. Lydia Lyke of Union.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Scott Funeral Home, Belford, with Rev. Robert L. Blackman, pastor of the Belford Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo.
