Schmietenknop Services Set
HOOPER -- Services for Henry Schmietenknop, 82, will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of here.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Rev. Leo Nielson will officiate.
Mr. Schmietenknop came to Hooper from Germany in 1893. He was born at Wardenburg, Germany, March 25, 1886. He was married Aug. 4, 1898 to Anna Osterloh, who died in 1946.
They farmed north of Hooper until retiring to Greeley, Colo., in 1950. He died there yesterday. While residing in this community he was very active in community affairs.
Survivors include two sons, George, Hooper, and Fred, Greeley, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Clara Puls, Greeley, Colo.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
