Death of Mr. Anna Siems.
Mrs. Anna Siems died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Harms, in Fremont, Friday, from a complication of diseases, after an illness lasting for several months.
Deceased was born in Tehone Moor, Aldenburg, Germany, Nov. 11, 1837. In 1890 she came to this country with her husband and children with the exception of one son, who remained in Germany. The family settled in this city, where Mrs. Siems remained until seven years ago when her husband died. Since that time she has been living with her children, eight of whom are living to mourn their loss. They are; Henry Siems, in Germany; Fred Siems, Fremont; Mrs. Adeline Harms, Fremont; Mrs. Mathilda Harms, Wichita, Kas.; Mrs. Sophie Schoeneck, Snyder; Mr. Betteus Siems, Snyder; Mrs. Tesina Beilrich, South Dakota; Mrs. Anna Konovsky, Snyder.
Funeral services were held in Fremont, Monday morning, and the remains were brought here and services held at the Lutheran church at 1:30p. m., conducted by Rev. J. A. Mathieson. Interment in the Hooper cemetery.
Relatives present here at the services were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harms and children and Fred Seims of Fremont; Betteus Seims and Mr. and Mrs. Schoeneck of Snyder. Friends present from Snyder were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Knovosky, Mrs. Bartz, William and Walter Schroeder.
