He leaves a widow and one son, Perry B. Cook of Eatontown. Mr. Cook was a member of the American Mechanics and was one of the township committeemen for a number of years.
The funeral services were preached at the house by Rev. M. L. Ferris. The body was buried in the West Long Branch cemetery on Tuesday. The pallbearers were George Armstrong, David Perry, Orville Conover, T. Edward Huyler, Charles McFadden and George L. Gibbs.

Mrs. Alida (Carhart) Cook, a former resident of Keyport, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1942, in Port Au Peck. She was the widow of Bloomfield Cook.
Mrs. Cook was born in Port Monmouth, the daughter of John K. and Ellen Ann Carhart. Surviving are a brother, Bishop E. Carhart, of Keyport, and a sister, Mrs. Mattie W. Conover, of Richmond Hills, L. I.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bedle Funeral Home in Keyport with the Rev. William R. Rossell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Green Grove Cemetery, Keyport.
Pallbearers were four nephews, J. Russell Conover, Kelsey Carhart, Ralph Carhart and Harry Carhart.
