Margaret Eunice Carhart, 60, of 413 Hillside Road, Ridley Park, who was formerly employed 15 years as a secretary at Taylor Hospital and lately at Community Life Services Inc. of Delaware County, Darby, until her illness last March, died Wednesday in Crozer - Chester Medical Center, Upland.
The former Margaret Griffith, she was born and raised in Upper Chichester.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin N. Carhart; a daughter, Mrs. Gail S. Crossen of Ridley Park; 1 sister, Mrs. Janet Hazel of Ridley Park; 1 brother, Frank Griffith of St. Petersburg, Fla. and three grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church, Sellers Ave., and Nevin St., Ridley Park.
Contributions in her memory may be miade to the Delaware County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 1740 South State Road, Upper Darby, or to the Memorial Fund of Christ Episcopal Church.
