Mrs. L. G. Carhart, 91, Passes Away
Mrs. Lucinda Gano Carhart, 91, died Thursday (Oct. 1, 1942) at the home of her son, John B. Carhart, 907 Berkman St., after three month's illness. She was a native of Norton, N. J., and was a resident of Plainfield for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Carhart was the widow of Samuel J. Carhart, and is survived by two sons, John B. and Arthur I. Carhart of Jersey City; a brother, Manning F. Gano of 339 Somerset St., and 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday from the Memorial Funeral Home at 2:30 p. m. The Rev. John Y. Broek of Trinity Reformed Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Grandin.
