Elkton, MD., Aug. 25. -- Larison B. Carhart, a retired farmer residing at Zion, Cecil county, died this afternoon, aged 71 years. He had a stroke of paralysis three years ago, from which he never recovered. He is survived by a widow and two sons, Edward Carhart, secretary of the Farmers and Mechanics' Fire Insurance Company, and Samuel Carhart, of New Jersey.
