Deceased } of the Township of Clinton, County of Hunterdon,
State of New Jersey. Being of sound mind and memory and understanding for which blessing I Thank God, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say.
First it is my will and I do [??] that all my just debt and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Huffman the interest and income of all my personal and real estate for her use and to [??] bring up and educate my children. If the aforesaid income of my estate proves insufficient to raise and educate my children then she must have so much of the principal as to suffice to educate the children and when the youngest child becomes of age, then it is my will that the remaining residue of my estate to be divided share and share alike with my wife and my surviving children. It is my will that my wife select and have so much of my household furniture as is necessary for her to keep house with, and further it is my will and I order and direct my executors to see the balance of my personal property which is left after my wife selection and I authorize and order my executor to sell my part and interest in the grain house and the bank of the central Railroad near the old {??] in Pareys Hill and to rent out the same as he may think best to the interest of my estate. Also it is my will and with that of my executors put my estate to interest in the best possible way secure for the benefit of my wife and children, in the manner and awy before named, and I do appoint and well [??] my father, John H. Huffman my lawful executor. This sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six.
