John Dusenberry's Will.
In the name of God Amen, I John Dusenberry of Monongalia County & State of Virginia being weak of body but of perfect mind & memory knowing that it is appointed unto men once to die do make & ordain his my last will and testament and first I commend my soul to God who gave it and my Body to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discression of my Executor I do ordain my son Henry Dusenberry my Executor Item first I will and bequeath (after my debts and funeral expenses are paid) to my beloved wife Sarah Dusenberry all the household and Kitchen furniture and the stock of all kinds Item 2nd, I will and bequeath unto my son Samuel Dusenberry the tract of Land of 100 acres on the East side of the road that he has a plat of and the stills and tubs between him and Henry equal, Item 3rd I will and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Clark that tract of land of 55 acres that she has go a plot of as it is therein directed and her husband David The black smith tools, Item 4th, I will and Bequeath unto my son Henry Dusenbury that tract of land of 100 acres on the West side of the Country road that he as got a plat of, Item 5th, I will and bequeath unto my son Daniel Dusenbury that tract of Land he now lives on of 110 acres Provided he takes care of Cornelius as long as he lives if not one half is to be applied to the use of my son Cornelius as long as he lives, Item 6th, I will and bequeath to my daughter Lidia Cunningham one half of that Tract of land that she now lives on and to her children at her death, Item 7th, I will and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Dusenbury the other half of that tract of land where Lidia Cunningham lives her life time and at her death to Katherine Wade and her Children if any if not to Lidia Cunningham children. ??
