Walter C. VanKeuren and Miss Alida Carhart Made Man and Wife.
Miss Alida Virginia Carhart, daughter of J. Philander Carhart of Keyport, and Walter Coriell VanKeuren, son of Melvin R. VanKeuren of Eatontown, were married Wednesday afternoon at the bride's home. The ceremony was performed by Rev. James L. Coote, pastor of the Keyport Baptist church. The bridesmaid was Miss Bertha Brown of Keyport and the groomsman was Perry B. Cook of Eatontown. Mrs. and Mrs. VanKeuren are spending their honeymoon at Niagara Falls. On their return they will begin housekeeping at Red Bank.

WALTER C. VAN KEUREN
RED BANK -- Walter C. Van Keuren, 72, of 15 Throckmorton Ave., died yesterday at Riverview Hospital where he had been a patient for five days.
He was born in New Market and had lived here 48 years. He was a civil engineer and was formerly employed by the Central Railroad of New Jersey.
He was a past master and a 50-year member of Washington Lodge, F&AM, of Eatontown, a member of Royal Arch Masons and of Hiram Chapter, Royal and Selected Masters, Field Council, Red Bank.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alida Virginia Carhart Van Keuren; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Shaw, Redondo Beach, Calif.; and two brothers, Benjamin Van Keuren, Eatontown, and Valentine Van Keuren, Alexandria, Va.
The Worden Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
