SANFORD, Fla. -- Mrs. Horense A. Smith, 78, of 109 Holly Ave., died yesterday at the Sanford Lodge Nursing Home.
Born in Trenton, N. J., she had lived there for most of her life. She was a member of the Dayton, N.J., Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Pioneer Grange 1 of Dayton and a member of Lady May Rebekah Lodge 94 IOOF of Cranbury, N.J.
Surviving are a step-son, Donald Smith of Franklinville, N.J.; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Von Thun of Dayton, Mrs. Adrian Dawley of Bordentown, N.J. and Mrs. Raymond Underhill of Sanford, with whom she had lived for the past seven years.
Private funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the A. S. Cole Funeral Home, North Main Street, Cranbury, with the Rev. Ronald Sloan, pastor of the Dayton Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Dayton Cemetery.
