Services for Mrs. Elsie G. Carhart, 91, a resident of Sunnyside Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Delaney and Greabell Funeral Home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse. Mrs. Carhart died yesterday after a long illness. She had resided at the same address since her marriage. The nursing home was the former Carhart family residence, and after its sale she continued to remain there as a resident. She was a native of England. She was the widow of Raymond Carhart who died in 1964.
Mrs. Carhart was a member of Collamer United Methodist Church and a past president of the Genetaska Club of Syracuse.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louis Frost of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Arthur Bohus of Palmyra, N. J.; four brothers, Hubert, Morns, Eugene and Cyril Grensted; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Paul. Mrs. Earl Taylor and Mrs. Eveline Carhart, all of California, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
