The will of John H. Leech, 76, of Camden, former head of a shoe manufacturing concern on Lafayette St., Riverside, who died January 30, at Miami, Florida, was admitted to probate in the office of the Camden County Surrogate last Friday. The estate is valued at more than $40,000.
The will, dated June 7, 1933 bequeaths the bulk of the estate to three brothers and a sister, Fred H. and Law D. Leech, of Burlington; Walter H., of Drexel Hill, Pa., and Mrs. Emily Waterhouse, of Amherst, Mass.
A niece, Miss Florence Leech, of Drexel Hill, Walter H. Leech, and William D. Lippincott, a Camden attorney, are named executors. Bequests of $1000 are made to eight nieces and a cousin. The nieces are: Miss Florence Leech, Miss Isabel Leech, Mrs. Edith Swarts, of Drexel Hill; Mrs. Mabel Budd of Santa Ana, California; Mrs. Lillian Brown, of Queens Village, N. Y., Mary and Ruth Leech, of Burlington; and Mrs. Florence Jackson, of Evanston, Ill. The cousin is Mrs. Emma Totten, of Brooklyn.
