Burnett S. Carhart
Services were held Monday afternoon at Harvey S. Bedle's funeral parlors, Broad Street, Keyport, for Burnett S. Carhart, who died suddenly Saturday morning of a heart attack. Mr. Carhart was 76 years old, the son of the late Gershon and Mary A. Carhart. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Reuben Carhart of Beverly, Elmer of Keansburg, and George of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. L. D. Havens, and Mrs. Eva Voorhees of Keyport. Services were conducted by the Rev. D. Roe Haney, pastor ov Calvary M. E. Church. Mr. Carhart was a member of the local lodge of Shepherds of Bethlehem. The funeral was in charge of Harvey S. Bedle and interment was in Green Grove Cemetery.
