Mrs. Clara Stout and Rev. William W. Carhart of Unionport, Ohio, were married at South Keyport last Wednesday afternoon by Rev. A. L. Iszard in the presence of about 300 relatives and friends.
The wedding march was played by Miss Viola C. Yerkes of New Brunswick. The church was trimmed with ferns, lilies and wild carrots. The bride was attired in gray silk. The ring bearer was Sadie Iszard, daughter of Rev. A. L. Iszard. The ushers were Miss Bella S. Rosevear, Miss Ettye G. Wyckoff of Keyport, Miss Edythe Stout and Miss Alice Reya of Red Bank and Mrs. A. Huyler of Keyport. The wedding cake was distributed at the door by Mrs. Augustus Ahearn. After the ceremony a reception was held at the church. Rev. and Mrs. Carhart left Wednesday night on a wedding trip to the Pocono mountains to be gone about two weeks. After their return they will make their home on Mrs. Carhart's farm. Mr. Carhart is a Presbyterian minister at Unionport, Ohio, but he will retire.
The couple are both graduates of the Moravian seminary at Bethlehem, Pa.
